Negotiating Training Careers

Scotwork is expanding in the UK and across our 32 Country Global network.  We are looking to recruit additional consultants to join our team in the UK.

The Role
The role of the consultant is to both sell and to deliver our world renowned Advanced Negotiation skills programme. This flagship programme is delivered across our extensive multinational client base and lasts 3 days. Its delivery requires a comprehensive understanding of our clients' businesses and negotiating issue in order to deliver the maximum return on investment.

The role involves a considerable amount of time away from home (3days a week for up to 36 weeks a year), and our consultants must have the domestic flexibility to accommodate this. The course is always challenging, never boring, requires high energy levels and an attention to detail.

The Person
We recruit experienced negotiators, not trainers, and coach them how to coach our valued clients to improved negotiating performance, via a 3 month internal 'train the trainer process'.  With time they will graduate to teaching our full portfolio of programmes, including; "Scotwork Skills Builder" and "Scotwork - The Next Steps" (Strategic Negotiating).

Our consultants are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds, (sectors, functions and levels). What they all have in a common is a passion for delivering our programmes to the highest standards, and coaching others to become more skilled negotiators. They typically have a sense of humour and good social skills, an engaging classroom presence, extensive personal negotiating experience, a capacity for hard work, and an ability to enthuse our clients and course participants at all levels.

The Rewards

In Scotwork the Partners believe in rewarding both effort and success.  Our remuneration package includes a generous base salary and bonuses for course delivery and sales performance.  A comprehensive company benefits package of contributory pension, private health cover, permanent health, car allowance and life insurance, 4 weeks annual holiday apply.

Successful senior consultants have the opportunity to progress to Partner level, or to move into our International business to manage Scotwork's extensive Global network.

Scotwork Partners

In certain markets the Scotwork business is operated by a Licensee Partner. In addition to all the characteristics referred to above, they have to have entrepreneurial drive and the skills to set up and run a prestigious management consultancy.

Our Licensee Partners run their own independent businesses dedicated to delivering the Scotwork range of services in their local market and language.
