Success Stories

The success of our courses is measured by our ability to influence our clients to get better deals. Often a better deal may be a quicker deal, or may involve a immeasurable return like a happier relationship.

Training is notoriously difficult to measure in terms of return on investment. At Scotwork, we have always believed that our courses offer an impressive return, so in 1991 we set out to prove it.

We assessed the impact of the course as reported by the participants, we then added a study of their line managers' opinions of the change in performance and finally we looked for other comparable research against which we could benchmark our results.

Since 1993, over 15,000 participants and 5,000 of their managers have taken part in this survey.  Scotwork has just produced the latest summary report, which contains the results from 5,000 participants who attended the Scotwork program in 2004, 2005 and 2006; and 620 of their managers.

The headline news is that on average the payback for attending the course is just 10 weeks and an impressive 14.4% of participants claim to have saved over £20,000 in the 3 months since the course ended.
